Winners 2015

Winners of the Premier Digital Awards and Conference 2015 were announced at the live award ceremony on Saturday 14th November.

Clearly making waves in the digital world and successfully engaging their audiences with high calibre, inspirational content, this year’s Premier Digital Awards finalists spanned across a diverse range of platforms.

From ‘Blogger of The Year’ and ‘App of The Year’ to ‘Innovative Use of Digital Media in Outreach’ and ‘Best Use of Video’ award, the evening sought to celebrate and encourage Christian online platforms in the spirit of Philippians 4:8, and and indeed it did!

Hosted by two influential names in Christian music and radio, Woman to Woman’s radio presenter, Maria Rodrigues, and Gospel Rap artiste Faith Child, announced the winners across the 16 categories.

Winning the ‘Best Use of Video’ award ChurchAds.Net created the powerful 45 second video titled ‘Christmas starts with a baby’s giggle’ as a modern way of echoing the current Christmas campaign message ‘Christmas Starts with Christ’ as a gentle reminder to the masses that Christ is the reason for Christmas.

As a social media savvy generation, being heard and effectively communicating a brand’s message is key and Christian Charity Stewardship won the ‘Most Creative Use of Social Media’ with its 40Acts challenge, which motivated 2.9 million acts of generosity, throughout 180 countries worldwide, over a 40 day period.

The ‘Multi-Author Blog of the Year’ award was given to Editor of the real and relatable UK magazine blog Threads and the award for the ‘Best Christian Organisation Website’ went to 24-7 Prayer, a global non-stop online meeting place for prayer which was created 16 years ago.

The biggest social meeting place is now online and with approximately over 3 billion users regularly frequenting blogs, apps, videos and websites, there’s been no other better time than now, that inspirational Christian organisations can be given the credit that it is due. Commenting on this year’s winning entries, Premier’s Chief Operating Officer Kevin Bennett says: ‘We’ve been totally amazed and utterly delighted with the quality and originality of all the entries in the awards programme.  This year’s winners have set a new benchmark for pushing boundaries in sharing the message of Christ online and with the aid of cutting edge technology.’

Here are the winners, runners-up and finalists of this year's Premier Digital Awards, as announced at the awards ceremony at The Brewery, London on Saturday 14th November.
Congratulations to all the winners, and well done to everyone who was nominiated.
