Children as young as 10 are sending each other indecent images through their phones, according to a series of surveys on so called 'sexting'...
There are fresh concerns that the increased amount of inappropriate images available to childen online is contributing to the problem. Children have also been reported to police regarding sexting, because even between young people possessing or sharing an indecent image of a minor is illegal.
As a result of this, children as young as nine could soon be learning about sexting in school. A new sex education pack is being made available to teachers for pupils between nine and 11 which will warn them what pictures are not acceptable to send online.
Is this the first time you've heard of sexting? Whether it is or it isn't, you need to make sure that the young people you know, whether at your church or your own children, are aware of all the dangers!
